Fake news and conspiracy peddler revealed to use more than 200 aggregator sites to push fabrications

  • News

Another network of fake news and conspiracy pushers has been outed by a service aimed at protecting internet users, NewsGuard.

The internet trust service condemned the Natural News Network late November and gave it a rating of 5/100 for using a network of hundreds of websites to flood the internet with damaging misinformation.

NewsGuard wrote that the exact ownership of the network remains unclear but some news outlets have linked a self-described “activist turned scientist”, Mike Adams as the owner of the fake news network that appears to be based in Taiwan.

COVID-19 and other health related conspiracies such as anti-vaccination messages appears to be the main topic for the network that uses its sites to push advertising for dietary supplements and other alternative medical products. Read the full NewsGuard PDF report here.
